Walthamstow Farmers' Market

Go and check out Walthamstow Farmers' Market this September! All the food and plants are grown, caught or raised directly from the farm fisherman or nursery. For top quality FARMA certified produce pop down to Town Square by Selbourne Walk Shopping Centre, off the High Street, Walthamstow E17 7JN. The market is open 10.00am every Sunday this September. You can bring the dog too!

Timeout says that the market is "a truly authentic affair, notable stall holders include Plot 44, a preserve vendor whose products are all made using ingredients fresh from the owner's allotment; Seafayre, a fisherman; and Bumpkin's Best Bee products - selling hand made jams, honey and bees wax candles on a monthly basis."

'Stow residents go crazy for Sea Fayre's fish from Kent, the Giggly Pig, who farm free-range pigs in nearby Romford, Quarry Farm's ethical veal, and Brambletye Farm biodynamic eggs and fruit. The market also boasts some fantastic seasonal produce, such as Dallaways Cherries in June and a great range of apples from Millets Farm in the Autumn.

It's family day on the 18th September at the farmers market which consists of a plant fair, Punch and Judy (two free shows during market hours), seed planting; plant up a pot and take it away with you and plenty of games to play.
