Walthamstow's mention in the new study 'London's Towns: Shaping the polycentric city'

London's Towns: Shaping the polycentric city is a study examining the phenomenon of people and business settling beyond central London. The new study looks retrospectively at the 500 year old village of Walthamstow and compares it's recent regeneration with likes of Bixton and other areas. We'll say no more as it's probably best to read it and see the facts for yourself printed in black and white. Click here to download a free copy.

If you would prefer to experience the study, we highly recommend the walking tour of Walthamstow for a chance to learn about this unique outer London town centre from the perspective of New London Architecture (NLA). The tour covers "Walthamstow's recent and upcoming regeneration plans, including anti-congestion initiatives, high street improvements and the provisions of increased housing and workspaces". It costs £18 to go on Saturday 11th November (14:30-16:30). Click here to find out more.
